VIPs to Hold "Disco Fever" Dance April 25th in Victorville

The Very Important People Connection of the High Desert will be holding a “Disco Fever” dance for teens and young adults with special needs at the Victorville Activities Center, 15075 Hesperia Road, Victorville, on April 25th from 5:30-8:30pm. Dale the DJ will be keeping the party going with his funky music and attendees are encouraged to wear their crazy disco duds and get ready to boogie.

The VIP Connection was formed by a group of parents and their children and young adults with special needs. The group gives members an opportunity to meet with others to socialize, exchange resources and information and listen to guest speakers while childcare is provided. The group has since expanded to have many aspects including sports, mom’s night out, teen clubs, dances and good old family fun.

One big highlight on the VIP program agenda are the Teen and Young Adult Dances with fun themes like “Winter Wonderland” Formal, held in January, where the girls dressed in their best gowns and had their makeup done by Gottschalks.
